Lavender Simple Syrup
Great for coffees, lattes, matcha, mocktails, and cocktails! This is straight lavender syrup but you can try various combos: lavender blueberry syrup, lavender rosemary syrup, lavender vanilla syrup. You could also add butterfly pea powder for more color
Ingredients
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 tbsp lavender culinary grade, sold in the seasoning/spice aisle
- 1 lemon slice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan on medium to medium high heat. Stir and bring to a simmer. Once simmering, turn off the heat.
- Add a lid to the pot and allow it to cool and steep off heat for 20 mins.
- Strain out the lavender and lemon slice. Allow to fully cool before bottling.
- This should keep in the fridge for ~3 weeks. Enjoy!
